Tropical Ketapang contains 6 natural Indian almond leaves (Terminalia catappa) that release beneficial tannins and humic acids into aquarium water. These natural compounds create conditions similar to tropical blackwater habitats, ideal for bettas, discus, shrimp and other soft-water species.
How to Use
Add 1-2 leaves per 50 litres of aquarium water. Leaves will gradually release tannins over 2-3 weeks, slightly tinting the water amber. Replace when fully decomposed. Shrimp will also graze on decomposing leaves.
